Shanah Tovah Umetukah – “A good and sweet year”
Peach Cobbler with backyard honey
We got a lot of peaches this year; they are juicy and sweet but do not have a presentive look, perfect for cobbler! The weather is cooler so I made this delicious Cobbler with backyard honey; perfect with vanilla ice cream!
Breakfast – Eggs
Breakfast is my favorite meal and today i decided to make similar to Shakshuka with my little twist . It took me 10 min .
Boiled water for poach egg . Cook the egg for 3 min . I like yolk slightly liquid and place it on the paper towel to dry .
Sautee little bit of onion and bell pepper , thick slice of eggplant , and medium ripe tomato .
Add garlic , blend of cumin & coriander ( i always have the mix handy ), turmeric , red chili powder ,cover and let it cook well .I like my eggplant cooked well .
Toast sesame seeds , grind it and add olive oil to make a paste .
Now it’s a time to put my dish together !! Enjoy !
